To be the special group of individuals means those people who had faced headwinds of mother nature and waves of onslaught from tribes of all over the world. Not only does one need a balanced attitude, but keen attention to detail is the mandatory conditions among many. A happy mindset towards life for achieving total freedom over the other’s edge is a prerequisite. Also, avoiding being superficial or foolish at the critical juncture of their journies of lifetime would have helped. Nonetheless, a certain speed of decision-making must have played a crucial role. Without being agile and nimble in one’s actions, it is hard to conceive how they succeeded where many civilizations failed badly. Orthodox thinking at certain times and adaptable one at other times while knowing the suble difference between the two may have contributed to they managing to live longer beyond normal expectations. It is ok to make mistakes, but not learning from them can be real fatal. One could lose all the advantages over your competition if one is not able to capitalize on your edge. First and foremost, exercise in winning is properly identifying your edge. If one fails in this assessment, you have lost the battle and war before even it started. Seriously, most warriors fail not because they were not brave but because they failed to read the room correctly. This skill is the paramount one. Unless one can master this nuanced technique, one is doomed upon arrival. When the competition unleashes their fury of all the weaponry they have, one will not necessarily be able to make sound choices. Bouncing back from a loss is also as important as winning a fire fight because on the battlefield, you win some and lose some. Leading with conviction is the key. Conviction is an incredibly empowering and positive approach. It’s about believing in your vision that represents something loving. Turning a loss into a gain entails believing the concept of seeing losing in a different way and responding accordingly. Nobody is going to remember if you lost or won, but most will remember how the loss or victory changed their lot. So, focusing on this simple equation is really rewarding. Such a humble belief may not be responsible for a huge change, but it is still worth it.
