Cut through the clutter of misinformation and disinformation

Misinformation is false or inaccurate information—getting the facts wrong. Disinformation is false information that is deliberately intended to mislead—intentionally misstating the facts. Misinformation x disinformation is a distortion of information on steroids. No one can escape this juggernaut of culmination of two extreme transients. The only way out is to locate the truth buried under the weight of both forms of twisted factual jargon. Perhaps the most difficult task on the planet Earth. We need to be aware of ill effects of falsehoods and half truths on social good. Negative analysis of this type of nonsense is to be mandated in real terms so that we can reach a resolution of a sort that is acceptable to most of the masses. Yes, we can run away from reality so much, but all catch up. There is no point in being a hater of good ideas that are ripe for prime time. It better to be better off in right than being buried under the burden of wrong that is weighed down by its own weight of ills. We know in our left hearts when we can make true progress in human thought and when we can’t. There is no magic wand that can heal our old scars, but we ought to try to do so. Being mindful of not spreading either forms of bad information is the key to success. No matter how hard we try to separate us from truth, it finally consumes us to a point of no return. It’s best not to indulge in greviences if one is found to be flat footed on the account of knowing what is true or what is false. At the end of the day, we all make mistakes on this front, and it doesn’t make sense to dwell on it too much on merits of it. Accordingly, remember to excuse yourself from a tricky situation as soon as possible. Because if we don’t, we get dragged into an unending cesspool. And that is dangerous and unfortunate.
